First Tikkun Olam Opportunity of the new year-- A great way to end the high holy days--

please consider donating a few hours of your day for a great cause!

Date: September 19-- A Sunday Place: Jewish Relief Agency (JRA)--please see links for information regarding directions and the agency mission statement. JRA relies on volunteers to box and donate food to needy individuals. Time: Boxing begins at 10 am-- about a 2-3 hour commitment with travel time for one route. You do not need to arrive at 10 am-- later arrivals pick up their boxes and deliver them.

This a great family activity-- the recipients love to see young children, and it is a great way to talk about important topics with your family--

RSVP: please email me with your name and how many routes you would like to deliver. One route usually fills the trunk of a standard vehicle. When you RSVP through me, we will likely be assigned close routes, so our community group will deliver to one neighborhood or apartment complex. Please RSVP to sherylgbartos@gmail.com by September 7-- latecomers are certainly welcome, but I can not ensure your route will be with the rest of the group.
