Power’s Education Apartheid Day of Action

June 12, 2019 @ 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
State Capitol, Main Rotunda
Peggy Greenfeld

POWER’s Education Apartheid Day of Action will take place on Wednesday, June 12th. Will you join us?
Our goal is to have hundreds of people singing, praying, talking with legislators, and demonstrating the massive and widespread public support for putting 100% of the state’s budget for schools through the fair funding formula. As a reminder, you can register here to attend.
Our legislation (HB961) currently has 58 co-sponsors in the House and we’re adding more each day. This injustice – the unfair and racially biased distribution of the state’s money for school districts – is a moral issue, and it must end now.
POWER will be providing bus transportation from multiple locations to those who need it, and will also provide food for anyone who registers. Don’t forget to register!
If you plan to attend, please contact Peggy Greenfeld or Rabbi Simcha to connect.
