Join the Havurah for an inviting Friday evening Shabbat Service when we mark the shift from our hectic weeks to slowing down with “Shabbat time”: song, prayer, poetry, and learning. Our service is both traditional and creative, and includes discussion of the weekly Torah portion or other timely topic of interest.
This week, in light of the verdict of the Derek Chauvin verdict, and with commitment to being part of the ongoing antiracism work we need in our community and our country, our service will focus on racial justice. We will balance the rest and renewal of Shabbat with voices of inspiration for our racial justice work ahead.
