Join us in an exploration of God concepts, the meaning of prayer, and the skills to participate more meaningfully in services. Within these broad topics, the interests of the group will help determine a more specific direction.  Together we’ll look at texts, discuss, and reflect on topics ranging from understandings of God and prayer, understanding the structure of the siddur, and the meaning of key prayers.  Recordings of the prayers used most often in Havurah services, and transliteration,  will also be provided, so that participants can learn to join in services more fully.
The class will meet on six Wednesday evenings for an hour and a half, beginning at 7:30.
Dates of sessions are: 7/1, 7/8, 7/15, 8/5, 8/12, and 8/19.
The fee will depend on how many people we have in the group – anywhere from 85.00 – 150.00 for the six weeks. Please email rabbisimchazevit@gmail.com to let her know if you’d like to participate!
