Join us for a a fun gathering to celebrate Sukkot, socialize, and enjoy a musical havdalah (the brief ceremony that ends Shabbat). This event is a time to get to know other Havurah members, new and old, as well as guests, and to be together to celebrate community- it’s the most joyful holiday of the Jewish year! Feel free to bring a friend; we are widening our tent and excited to welcome new Havurah members and those interested in getting to know the Havurah.
In this season marking the harvest we will be supporting The Narberth Food Pantry. Please bring something for them. (If you cannot make this celebration, please consider a donation to the pantry directly.) See here for list of needed items:
There is a second community-wide, intergenerational Sukkot Open House on Sunday, September 26th, in addition to this evening event for the adults in our community.
You will receive the address through our Havurah listserv emails, and/or through rsvp’ing.
Our current COVID safety policy is to have outdoor events only, to have all masked and socially distanced. We are not yet ready for our wonderful Havurah potlucks with food-sharing, but we will serve individually packaged snacks and desserts. (The only exception to masking policy is small events with ten people or less, outdoors, all of whom are vaccinated, and have stated consensus among the group to unmask).
