This year, the Narberth Havurah will hold its community potluck Passover Seder on the second night of Pesach – organized once again by Havurah members Moss Stern and Eileen Abrams. We will be using a very minimalist Haggadah to guide us through our ritual, giving us the freedom to extemporize, and for everyone to chime in with their readings, poems, and spontaneous thoughts and observations. So, if there is anything that you would like to share, please bring it! And if anyone wishes to help lead this seder, please email us to let us know!
We will also have a short skit in which the Havurah’s children (and/or other willing volunteers) will re-enact the Passover story. And, we will connect the Exodus to the tragic experiences that all too many people are suffering in our world today as refugees all around the planet.
Please bring your families and invite your friends. All who are hungry, let them come and eat! But, please sign up here ASAP to let us know how many people will be coming with you, and to commit to either helping set up, bringing something to eat or drink, or cleaning up at the end.
To assist with the Havurah’s costs, we ask that you contribute $15.00 per adult and $8.00 per youth (under the age of 13), or $36.00 per family. You can make your contribution in advance at www.paypal.me/NarberthHavurah, or bring a check or cash to the event.
