Join us for a Community Shabbat Celebration! This post will be updated once we review our COVID protocol for the month of November.
WELCOMING OF SHABBAT ON-LINE 6:00 – 6:30 p
For now, our Covid policy restricts us from gathering to eat together in person, so what used to be our monthly Shabbat potluck pre-pandemic (and we hope will soon be happening again), has become Welcoming of Shabbat on-line, a half hour family friendly gathering to light candles and do Shabbat ritual, sing a song or two and learn a bit about the Torah portion. Participants are encouraged to bring your own candles, challah, and kiddush cups, as a way of bringing Shabbat into your own homes. Zoom link will be sent in Havurah emails.

SHABBAT POTLUCK 6:00 – 7:30 pm
When Covid restrictions shift, and we’re able to gather for meals again, we’ll resume our monthly Shabbat potlucks. These gatherings have the feel of one big Havurah family gathering for Shabbat dinner, with Shabbat song and ritual before we eat. a delicious meal (people tend to cook as if they were feeding family at home!), and an intergenerational activity of some kind after we eat. If we’re on for the potluck,
Hope you can join us!
