Vigil for Racial Justice with Merion Friends

June 12, 2021 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Merion Friends Meeting House
Corner of Montgomery and Meeting House Rd

These vigils take place weekly. We invite you to join with us and the Merion Friends community, who organize the gathering.

This is a silent vigil to bear witness to the deaths and honor the lives of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Rayshard, Breonna Taylor, Daunte Wright, and others in this growing movement. Together we stand firm in our belief that Black Lives Matter, and that we must stand together in our commitment to racial justice.
We will gather at the corner of Montgomery Ave and Meeting House Roads. We are strictly respecting all social distancing and public health rules –  standing 6 feet apart, wearing face masks. Merion Friends will provide hand sanitizers, signs, and chairs for those who need them, though you are encouraged to make and bring your own signs and chairs if you can.
If driving, you can park in the Activiites Building lot at 615 Montgmery Ave.
