Tu B'Shvat Tree Walk and Mini Sedar

  • Merion Train Station Merion Station, PA 19066 (map)

Join us this Sunday for a unique celebration of Tu B'Shvat, the birthday of the trees! Our day begins with a serene tree walk in the beautiful Merion Botanical Garden, guided by tree enthusiasts Harris Stern and Miriam Shakow. Embrace the tranquility of the park, as we explore trees in their various states - some green and half asleep, others bare, revealing fascinating clues about their seasonal activities.

The walk starts promptly at 10:00 AM at the park entrance near Merion Train Station. After our exploration, we'll gather at the home of Liz and Charlie for a mini Tu B'Shvat seder led by Rabbi Simcha.

As we anticipate the arrival of spring, let's discuss future events, including the possibility of the Havurah managing a vegetable garden bed at the Narberth Cooperative Garden Site and participating in tree planting on Earth Day.

Come be a part of this meaningful Havurah event, celebrating the intertwined circle of life between us and trees, and look forward to the growth and renewal that spring brings.
